The Program

Conducted in a safe, confidential, and supportive environment, The Mindful Mood Centre offers structured workshops to help people deal skillfully with Anxiety and Depression. All workshops are facilitated by Dr. Ginny McFarlane, who has been creating and conducting group workshops since the mid-1990s.

Workshops conducted on Zoom for Healthcare unless otherwise indicated.

 

The following workshops are offered in 2024-5:

Community Contemplation Days are half day retreats for those who’ve done The Mindful Living Workshop (or equivalent), and would like to deepen their understanding of the full scope of mindfulness practice.

Mindful Living Refresher Days are half or full days of meditation practice for people who have completed the Mindful Living Workshop or equivalent.

Compassionate Care Days are half-day retreats for participants who have done the Compassionate Living, or Compassionate Living Graduate Workshops, and wish to strengthen their practices.

Mindful Living Community is a monthly program for participants who have completed The Mindful Living Graduate Workshop, or equivalent, and wish to deepen their meditation practices.

Compassionate Living Community is a monthly program for participants who have completed The Compassionate Living Workshop, or equivalent, and wish to deepen their understanding of self-compassion practices.

Mood Support Group is an on-going group for those who have completed the Mindful Living Workshop, or equivalent, and wish to maintain their Mindfulness Meditation practice, and engage in facilitated peer support to cope with Anxiety, Depression and Emotional Distress.

DreamPath Workshop is an in-depth personal growth workshop for people who have a Mindfulness Meditation practice, and are skillfully coping with Anxiety, Depression or Emotional Distress. This workshop combines Mindfulness practices with Gestalt Therapy exercises to create a life path of deep intention. To be offered in person and online Spring-Fall 2025 for 14 sessions with a summer break, exact dates TBA.
