Compassionate Living Community

The Compassionate Living Community helps participants struggling with Depression, Anxiety or Emotional Distress to deepen learning first begun in the Compassionate Living and Compassionate Living Graduate Workshops. We review core meditations, try on exercises from The Mindful Self Compassion Workbook that weren’t covered in the previous workshops, and delve deeper into more challenging topics such as anger, shame, and forgiveness of ourselves and others. This workshop uses materials sent by email, and The Mindful Self Compassion Workbook.

Approximately 3.5 hours 10 -1:30, monthly.

Location

Effective December 1, 2022, all groups and appointments to be conducted on ZOOM for Healthcare. Periodic sessions are in person in the east end of Toronto.

The Process

All applicants may be required to meet with me for a brief re-assessment to determine if this workshop is the correct action at this time. This meeting does not guarantee entry into the group. All applicants must have completed the Compassionate  Living Workshop or equivalent and be coping adequately with Depression &/ or Anxiety. This workshop is not a substitute for individual therapy.

*Regardless of the reason, if you are late, leave early or give less than one week's notice of cancellation, you pay directly out of pocket according to the following fee schedule:

Missed session: $101.00 (subject to change without notice)
Late fee (or leaving early) approx., $14.00 per 1/2 hour (subject to change without notice)
