Mindful Living Refresher Days
Mindful Living Refresher Days are conducted on Zoom for Healthcare to allow for full visualization of all participants for workshop safety and facilitation. Occasionally there are in person retreats in the east end of Toronto.
This is a refresher workshop for men and women who have done The Mindful Living Workshop (or equivalent)and would like to strengthen their daily mindfulness practice. This one-day workshop will be conducted in a “retreat” style in silence and will include: Sitting meditation, Walking Meditation, Mindful Eating, Mindful Listening and Speaking, a "Heart Practice" (eg. Loving Kindness, Gratitude etc) and some simple Mindful Movements.

Approximately 5 hours 9:30AM - 2:30PM arrival 9:00-9:15. Time includes a short period for Mindful Eating in Community, so have a snack prepared ahead of time.

The Process
All applicants may be required to meet with me for a brief re-assessment to determine if this workshop is the correct action at this time. This meeting does not guarantee entry into the group. All applicants must have completed the Mindful Living Workshop or equivalent and be in remission from Depression &/ or Anxiety. This workshop is not a substitute for individual therapy.
All sessions paid by OHIP *Handouts sent by email.
*Regardless of the reason, if you are late, leave early or cancel with less than one week's notice, you pay directly out of pocket according to the following fee schedule:
Missed session: $101.00 (subject to change without notice)
Late fee (or leaving early) approx., $14 per 1/2 hour (subject to change without notice)
